Food pairing Red meats, such as fiorentina and tagliata, and meat sauces. We love it with brasato al Montecucco.

Curiosity The name comes from the place where the vines grow, a small local cru always devoted to Sangiovese. Legend has it that Marracone was a knight, to whom we have dedicated the label.

Grapes 85% Sangiovese 15% Malvasia e Trebbiano

Food pairing An easy-drinking wine, to be paired with many dishes of Tuscan cuisine. Also ideal as an aperitif.

Curiosity The shape of the land surrounding the estate is like an amphitheatre. We like to imagine Poderi Borselli as the stage where every day we put on a performance.

Intregona

Grapes 50% Malvasia 50% Trebbiano

Food pairing Our white wine selection is perfect as an aperitif and with first courses of fish.

Curiosity The name comes from a place near the estate called Tregona, which we transformed into Intregona, a female character in love with Marracone. The label reveals the face of the woman, with curly and slightly wild hair.

Ostro

Vermentino

Grapes 100% Vermentino

Food pairing Perfect as an aperitif, as an accompaniment to lightly prepared white meats and, needless to say, with fish.

Curiosity Ostro was born from an idea by eight hands — ours and those of friends from the Bolgheri area, immediately captivated by its fragrance and flavour. Ostro, or Austro (from the Latin Auster, the southern wind), is the name of the wind that blows from the south, known as the midday wind, its direction symbolically shown on the compass rose. The label depicts the rise of the wind towards the sun.

Papavero Rosa

Rosato Biologico IGT Toscana

Grapes Salasso di Sangiovese (50%) e Vermentino (50%)

Food pairing A fresh wine with a youthful colour and rich, pleasant notes of red fruits such as wild strawberry and raspberry. For these characteristics it pairs beautifully with raw fish, but also with delicate cheeses such as sheep’s ricotta and cold soups like Salmorejo.

Curiosity Both the name of this label and the beautiful drawing that accompanies our first Rosé were born from an idea by our children. Born somewhat by chance, with its fresh Mediterranean aromas it is giving us great satisfaction.
